How much does it cost to renovate or build a home in Brisbane?
Every project is different, so we give you a clear, fixed-price quote after a free on-site consultation, with no hidden costs or surprises. Because of our industry contacts, we can also pass supplier discounts directly to you instead of charging a premium on building materials.
Do you handle council approvals and building applications?
Yes – we deal with council all the time and know exactly what they need. With our Design & Construct service we handle the whole lot for you: drafting, engineering, surveying and approvals, so you’ve got just one person to talk to from start to finish. Just flag it early when we chat and we’ll take it from there.
Can you raise my Queenslander or an old brick home?
We specialise in raising Queenslanders and building in underneath to unlock new living space. A brick home can also be raised, provided the brickwork isn’t structural; homes with a brick facade can be raised once the external facade has been removed. We’ll assess your home and advise the best approach.
Do I need my own plans, or can you arrange design for me?
Either’s fine. Already got a building designer? We’ll work in with them and sort the plans and engineering. Haven’t got one? No worries – we’ve got designers we’ve worked with for years and can take care of the whole design side as part of Design & Construct.
Are you licensed and insured?
Absolutely. Bishop Construction is a fully licensed builder (QBCC Licence 1074234) and a Master Builders QLD member, and every tradie on the job knows their trade inside out – so you can relax knowing you’re in good hands.
