A brick home can be raised provided that the brick home is not structural. Home with brick facade can be raised after external facade has been removed.

This is dependent on your access and what your building project entails. I.E. if you already have narrow access and will require machinery, such as earthmovers, this may be something you need to look at doing. Generally, a width of at least 1 metre and a height of 2 meters is required for machinery such as a Bobcat.
The easiest way to answer this question is to send a picture of your access ways with measurements to your builder or you can wait until your on-site consultation.

We have extensive experience with the company and believe that they operate to the same high standards that we hold all our staff and sub-contractors. We are able to liaise with the designers on your behalf to ensure a seamless service between our two companies. Alternatively, mention that you will be contracting Bishop Construction Services to your building designer and they can arrange transfer of all plans and engineering on your behalf.

  2. Get comprehensive plans and engineering for your project. After you have plans, Bishop Construction Services will be able to provide a comprehensive quote.
  3. Submit your plans for Council Building Approval, if applicable. Bishop Construction Services can assist with this.
  4. Building can begin once plans are approved by Council.
  5. Inspection and Handover. This is where you will inspect the completed home. If necessary, you can have any issues amended.
